Deacon recently had his 9 month check-up and the new stats are in:

The above picture is of Deacon's latest way to show he is excited. This pose started after we bought him a little football. When he would pick it up, we would yell "touchdown" and put our arms up. This "pose" quickly graduated to every activity that got him excited and is now the "hurray" or "yay" pose. In the picture he is excited about the spinach he is eating. Let's hope he will be displaying this excitement for spinach in 4 more years. His bib also points out nicely what spinach makes him do.

And WOW... he's got Caleb beat by over a pound, and Caleb is nearly twice as old as Deacon now (18 mos. vs. 9 mos.). One big kid is right!! Our maybe ours is just a shrimp!
