Last Saturday we attended Bethany's annual family picnic. The picnic is a celebration for all the adoptive families from the Pittsburgh Bethany office. It was held at the private lake residence shown in the picture above. It was a gorgeous day!

We were invaded by pirates who entertained the kids. They even took
them on boat rides across the lake.
Our little friends Salim and Rimere got to do some horse back riding.
The boys recently became brothers through adoption.

I got your first email about your blog page... and then lost track. Just talked to Joy today and she told me your exciting news!
CONGRATULATIONS! I am so excited for you guys - can't even express... He is SO beautiful - and I can tell he is loved!
I will be praying for your family - and will use the blog to keep track of Deacon as he grows.
I am planning a trip out to PA - hopefully this September. I will have several babies to visit by then - and some grown-ups too! I'll keep you posted on the plans.
